What are the risks involved in embarking on a voyage into the unknown?
Mutiny from the sailors, conflicts with unfriendly natives, different climate, diseases and failure of discovery could be the risks. First of all, when the voyage is not successful in profit, there could be revolts from the sailors, and punishment from the monarchs or supporters. Also, as Magellan did, conflicts with natives of the newly discovered land could be threatening to the explorers. The explorers could catch disease in an unaccustomed environment. Different food, water and diseases with no immunity could get them ill. Failure in discoveries could lead to punishment from their supporters, who had spent a fortune to prepare and send off people to foreign lands.

It is told that it was invented in China, originally made out of lodestone. Explorers were able to find where they were heading, and what direction one needs to follow.

The Muslim slave merchants justified such actions with Muslim belief, that stated that Muslims could enslave non-believers of Islam. Also, the European explorers started to figure out value in slave trades. They saw profit and advantages using Africans as slaves, which led the Europeans enslaving the Africans.
Explain the Triangular Trade Route.
The Triangular Trade Route transports manufactured goods, slaves, and raw goods, between Europe, western Africa, and the West Indies. First, the Europeans sent off manufactured good from their factories, to the western coast of Africa. Then, the slaves were transported to the West Indies, being traded with the raw goods, which were produced from fields and farms there. Finally, the raw goods would be sent to Europe, which would be used to created manufactured goods.
Identify the consequences of the slave trade.
The Slave trade resulted Africa to lose its most valuable, and productive working population, which were the young and healthy ones. Introduction of guns to Africans triggered more devastating tribal warfare. Families were torn apart from each other and never reunited again.
